Spanish began slavery in the America’s as early as the 1560’s.

The British began importing Africans as slaves to North America as recorded in 1619.

246 years of legalized (chattel) and organized slavery, years 1619 to 1865, 12 generations, followed by Jim Crow laws practiced through 1964, 5 generations or nearly an additional 100 years. The residue has left a fragmented and wounded people to find their way.

African-Americans struggle today in a toxic environment to protect, provide for and prepare the next generation.

Obstacles include the tools of oppression such as: Guns, Drugs, Alcohol, MIS-education, sub-standard housing, and limited living wage employment.

The positive experiences enjoyed by other cultures is the result of many generations, nurturing, cultivating, and encouraging. Even through conflict, they know who they are. They have a sense of Identity.

Understand the mission was to break the Spirit and Sense of Identity of the African American.
Nothing personal, this was merely done for competitive advantage. This process of destruction was organized and systematic for 12 generations or 246 years. This system was enabled by government policy, Laws and religious doctrine.

Know that religion is a tool used to accomplish both Good and Evil. The US Government in collaboration with slave owners used religion to reinforce the execution of this demonic plot. The plot was to destabilize families and communities.

Dr. Martin Luther King and others used this tool, religion, to implement their plan of recovery to lift a people out of despair and hopelessness. Know the process begins with divine inspiration followed by: man, Guide (bible), Repetition (Religion), and community of believers (church)

In The Bible we learn: Cain slew (killed) his brother Able for competitive advantage. With Able gone Cain felt he was always Number One.
